The Chubu17 story.
CHUBU started out in the world of churros. We began with fresh ideas, turning churros and hot chocolate into something different, with unusual combinations like churros with melted cheese and bacon, or cheese and blueberries. But in a small space, we had to reinvent ourselves, and that is how the CHUBU17 you know was born: handcrafted signature burgers made with local produce from the Mercado de Nuestra Señora de África in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Gourmet burgers are our speciality, and our homemade mayonnaises and sauces are what we are known for. We use fresh certified beef with 30% to 40% fat, cooked with nothing but salt and pepper to keep its true flavour. Our terrace is known for its warm, friendly atmosphere, the kind of place where new friendships start.

Self-employed with zero freedom: a part-time boss, because he can't afford to run the business from home, so he always ends up working. Chasing the Spanish dream since 1992, still without catching it.
Mati, Chef.
Our longest-serving member, three years with us and proving every day that quality runs in his blood. We still don't know what his voice sounds like: nobody has managed to get a word out of him.
Luca, Chef.
The team's Latin lover. Every shift we deal with customers asking for his socials and his phone number, but what they don't know is that he is already married. Even so, he never stops handing out smiles.
Shoryyy, Waitress.
One of a kind and the most special one on the team: the queen of darkness who always lights up the place. Single and ready to break hearts.
Jimy, Waiter.
A Latin powerhouse, full of energy and strength to carry the whole service on his shoulders. Crowned Mister Congeniality of the Universe in 2021-2022; since 2023 he has been a little grumpier.
Jamal, Waiter.
The real beast of the team, able to do six things at once and break every rule in the book. We still haven't found his limit, and we are starting to seriously doubt he has one.
